Mission Statement :
The BEMS PCC is a community of parents, grandparents, teachers, students and support staff who have joined together to educate and nurture the children of Bonny Eagle Middle School. The BEMS PCC is an organization whose sole purpose is to lend its energy, talent and time to improve the quality of the community's education. It has been established so that teachers and parents of BEMS Students can work together to make the community more effective in reaching its educational goals.
Purpose :
The purpose of the PCC is to support and enhance the educational experience at Bonny Eagle Middle School working to:
1. Strengthen the relationship between home and school
2. Promote and encourage communication among families, parents, teachers and administration
3. Serve as a source of support for the school with volunteer and financial assistance
4. Foster goodwill and support for the school in the community at-large
Membership :
The PCC membership will be open to teachers, parents or guardians of students and staff of RSU 6 in improving and making our community more effective in reaching its educational goals. This is without regard to race, color, creed, sexual or gender identification, or national origin. Community members, parents, staff and donors are urged to attend meetings and participate in decision making through dialog and discussions. All opinions will be valued and taken into consideration by and for the Board of Directors to vote upon.
